Also, the light above the stove (bottom of microwave) is burnt out. Some sink drains are slow draining, could use some Drano? The dishwasher door seal was loose causing some water leakage.
Would you rent this property again? Definitely Yes!!! We loved the house and our stay here and would return in a heartbeat!

He was anxious to fix the things that day, but I assured him that we would be fine and he could attend to the repairs when we left. He was very friendly and helpful.

Were there any cleaning or maintenance issues upon arrival? Very clean on arrival. Only arrival issue was the lack of lighting near the door with the lock box. We arrived after 830pm and had to use a lighter to see the buttons on the combo box. We also noticed a screen on the front right of the house looked as though it might have been tampered with at some time.
Was the property furnished and stocked appropriately? Very nice furnishings - perfect for our young family. Comfortable! We are used to having minimal supplies available on arrival so the amounts of paper products, cleaning supplies, and pantry/ cooking items was typical of most places we've rented. Kitchen well stocked. Loads of towels, beach and pool play gear.
Any suggestions for improving this property? We could only get hot water on the master side of the house when the pool heater was not running - unsure if related or not. It would also be awesome if fabric softener were used for the sheets and towels. They are a bit rough!
Would you rent this property again? We would love to! The pool was absolute awesome. Warm, clean and well lit.
Additional Comments: As a note for maintenance - the master bath vanity has one burned out light on the left and one of the tiles is cracked and another's grout is chipped out so it moves a little when you step on it.

It was evident that it was recently cleaned; vacuum marks were evident on the carpet and the cleaning staff left cute designs on the towels and even the toilet paper. The condo had a very clean feel to it, and we truly appreciated it.
Was the property furnished and stocked appropriately? Yes. We cooked breakfast and the kitchen had all the necessities that we needed. There were plenty of beach chairs and even an extra fishing rod! We were extremely satisfied with everything that the condo included and did not see anything missing that should have been included.
Any suggestions for improving this property? There are no real issues that would need improvement. I would suggest new shower heads - they are a bit rough and outdated. Aside from that minor detail everything was relatively new and in good condition.

Were there any cleaning or maintenance issues upon arrival: Yes. The latch to the lanai screen door was broken and we had immediate and good response to our request for a fix from Harry Rogers.
Was the property furnished and stocked appropriately: Yes. This was our first house rental experience, so we may have been a little naive about what items are furnished. It might be good to have some sort of instruction in your rental ads to let clients know they may have to purchase toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags. We bought all of these and a few kitchen things and just left it there for other renters.
Any suggestions for improving this property: We understand that some renovation is in the works for this summer. The stove is rather outdated and the over door is broken. The kitchen cabinetry needs some work along the floor and the cupboards need a good scrubbing. The doors feel tacky to the touch. The outside decking is also rather rundown. Having a bedroom mirror and TV in the second bedroom with the double bed would have been nice. Having some nice beach lounge chairs to take to the beach would be nice. We bought four of them and left them.
Would you rent this property again: Sure. Overall it was a very nice place. It was very clean when we arrived and the flowers were a nice touch.
Additional Comments: The pool and patio area was a great set up and we really enjoyed spending time out there. The house is good size and master bedroom set up is very nice. A TV in each room would be nice for a group of people. Harry was a delight. I called him to ask opinions on eateries and fresh fish markets. He was very friendly and prompt when asked to fix a leaking toilet and screen door latch.

Any suggestions for improving this property? We had a problem with the sliding glass door to the lanai. That was quickly fixed. Our major issue was the beds. I was VERY disappointed in the beds, the master bed was very dated, soft, and uncomfortable - both my husband and I would sink into the middle every night. We would wake each morning with sore backs. The queen room - the bed was again very old and worn. My mother in law had to sleep on the couch every night - the bed was so bad. The room with twin beds, one of the beds was so warn and squeaky my son would fall out of it or roll to one side. If I were staying in a hotel, I would NEVER have continued the stay in the room with the beds in that condition. I felt a lot of the items could have been updated. Some of the utensils couldn’t even be used due to corrosion and wear. Some of the utensils were rusted. The bed skirt in master bedroom was ripped all the way across, and again very dated. A bit disappointed overall...at times! I didn’t feel it was very clean. The light socket in the master bath was full of dust and grime.

Additional Comments: We really enjoyed the complex, but were really disappointed in the condo itself. It needed lots of updating on major items. The beds were the biggest issue and really should not have been acceptable.

Any suggestions for improving this property? More lounge chairs for around the pool (only two for a house that sleeps 6-8). Also, patio doors to the lanai do not lock properly, leaving the house virtually not secure when we leave the house and during the night. The sliding doors need to have locks replaced. Also, the sliders are difficult to open and close.
Would you rent this property again? Would consider it, but probably not unless the house was updated a bit.

Were the rental agents and service staff courteous and responsive? No, that is until the new owners and HomeWatch took over. Most of the issues listed below were then taken care of after that. Harry Rogers has been very proactive in addressing the problems. We are very flexible and roll with the punches but this property was without a doubt the worst that we have rented in the past nine years.
Were there any cleaning or maintenance issues upon arrival? Yes, many - if there was a cleaning service it was not apparent. The home was dirty, dusty and ant infested- ants all over the kitchen counter, coming out of the dishwasher, wall plugs and the toaster. Dirty furniture, carpet, nothing seemed to work. Broken, rusted dishwasher, refrigerator ice, water maker not working, stove and cook top in bad repair. Broken furniture, dust on furniture and the closet louvers was so bad that I went through a box of "Swifter" dusters just to clean up a bit and make the place livable. We opened windows wide just to get the mildew smell out. Scissors so rusted if you used them you might need a tetanus shot. I picked up a cheap pair at the dollar store. Window blinds, (good luck) in such poor shape. No blinds on windows facing south makes viewing TV impossible until dark.
Was the property furnished and stocked appropriately? No!! This property did not live up to "as advertised". There were very little "starter" products - no paper towels, no toilet paper other than what was left on a roll (almost gone). The so-called beach furniture is a joke. There is not one chair that even seems safe to sit on. The outside lanai furniture is tired and worn. The kitchen supplies, dishes, etc. seem adequate. But don't hope to bake anything. The baking sheets are greasy and rusted. Beach towels are worn and thin. This is just a tired home in need of updating in so many areas. I wish the new owners well in their endeavor.
Any suggestions for improving this property? I would first start with a reliable cleaning service. Further, I know that Stanley Steamer not only cleans carpets but also do a great job on cleaning tile grout. I would replace the kitchen cabinets and stove. I would replace the bathroom vanities, and clean and or replace the tile/grout on floors, bathrooms, etc. One more thing, there is a vacuum cleaner here, but no attachments. It would make it so much easier to keep up with the cleaning if there were attachments such as brush, etc. The floor mop should be replaced. A pail for washing said floors would come in handy. Much has to be done to bring this property to where it should be.
Would you rent this property again? No, not unless it is updated with fully functioning appliances, outdoor and beach furniture, towels, etc.
Additional Comments: This home has so much potential. The view is beautiful. We have enjoyed sitting out on the lanai and watching the dolphins, manatees, turtles and boats. Our grandkids had a ball on their short visit. We too put aside the problems and enjoyed our stay. We do want to thank you for your promptness in addressing all issues that came up. Your attention to details made our stay more comfortable.

Were the rental agents and service staff courteous and responsive? Very much so, Harry was prompt and seemed genuinely interested in our well being, as did other service people who had occasion to call.
Were there any cleaning or maintenance issues upon arrival? The house was clean, and well equipped. There were a number of light bulbs burned out, but at least there were bulbs available so that we could correct the situation. The gas grill burners did not fully light, and the grill itself was loaded with rust and debris. I cleaned it out, and reamed the holes in the burners, it functioned fine, even though it needed to be lighted manually. Harry reimbursed me for the cost of a new grill brush, which was needed to keep the grates clean.
Was the property furnished and stocked appropriately? Furnishings and supplies provided surpassed my expectations, although another lamp in the great room for reading would be helpful. I was very impressed with the quality and completeness of the appliances, utensils, furniture, dishes, etc. as well as the cleaning supplies, pool and beach toys.
Any suggestions for improving this property? The lanai screens are torn in many places, and should be replaced (maybe after the fall hurricane season) The broken plastic vent grills on the garage door, and the rusted door between the pool and the garage are cosmetic issues, but they leave a negative first impression.
Would you rent this property again? Yes. In spite of those items listed above, it is a comfortable vacation home, which provided us with a memorable and fun respite.
Additional Comments: I can just imagine how difficult it must be to support and maintain such a property for the "rental public". Overall we were very pleased with our stay, and especially grateful for the honest, personable, and responsive yet business-like support of the owner and his staff. I just felt good about the whole experience, as did our guests. Thank you.

Were the rental agents and service staff courteous and responsive? Yes, but they forgot to give us the garage remote
Were there any cleaning or maintenance issues upon arrival? NO. Windows were dirty but Harry fixed that promptly.
Was the property furnished and stocked appropriately? Yes. Leather furniture was built for giants!
Any suggestions for improving this property? Pool solar blanket, better MB pillows and 2 remotes for garage would be nice
Would you rent this property again? We would like to next winter and thinking about it but Canadian dollar is severely depressed right now, down about 27% against US buck, adding very significantly to rental costs. Too bad for us!
